The book is devoted to the valuable historical and literary source "Life of Nicholas Mirlikiysky". Its first translation survived within the hagiographic statute book - a unique Western Russian manuscript of the end of the 70s - beginning of the 80s of the XVIth century published in Kurbsky scriptorium. The publication of the monument is supplemented with the researches, comments, Latin original of the translation from the sixth volume of the "De probatis sanctorum historiis" (Hagiographic Library) by the Cartesian-monk Laurentius Surius (Cologne, 1575) and photo reproduction of the Old-Russian list of handwritings of the scriveners who worked in Kurbsky circle.
