"Lexical Atlas of Belarusian Folk Dialects: Analytical and Reference and Information Materials" is a comprehensive scientific, interpretative and reference and information work prepared on the basis of a five-volume linguogeographic study published in 1993-1998. It consists of a bibliographic part, the materials of which are devoted to highlighting the role of the laureates of the State Prize of the Republic of Belarus in the creation of the "Lexical Atlas of Belarusian Folk Dialects" (LABNG), a monographic section on the lexical atlas - the history of its creation, structure, types of linguogeographic maps and their features, an index of words recorded in the five volumes of the atlas, and various reference materials - lists of maps, a lexical questionnaire, reference materials on settlements, or the LABNG network, on conducting dialectological expeditions, etc.
The publication makes a significant contribution to the theory and practice of linguogeographic research and will be of interest to a wide range of linguists. The work is intended for researchers, teachers of East Slavic languages, Slavists, as well as ethnographers, and lovers of the native language.
