The relevance of this monograph lies in the interdisciplinary approach to the study of the problems of young women who have committed a crime and served their sentences in places of deprivation of liberty. The paper consistently examines the issues of the genesis of female crime in the context of a historical approach. Information about female crime, its distinctive features is presented, as well as the dynamics of the state of female crime in modern Russia is analyzed.
