The book is the first edition about the Fedorovs. Nikolai Fedorov and his father Vasily Fedorov are well known in Minusinsk. Vasily Fedorov founded the first printing house in the city, published newspapers, opened the first cinema. His successor was Nikolai Vasilyevich (1878-1918), whose immense photographic heritage is a priceless memory of the past of Minusinsk. The author has done a lot of research, published a number of historical sources, previously unknown, most of the illustrations are published for the first time. The book is supplemented by a complete illustrated catalog of postcards published by the Fedorovs.
