The bibliography Latvian Books Published outside Latvia, 1920 - 1940 covers typographically issued books and pamphlets in the Latvian language published within that period of time, regardless of the place of publication. The unique material of the bibliography was included in none of the Latvian State registering bibliographic publications (Latvian Science and Literature; 1920 - 1926 nor Bulletin of the State Library; 1927 - 1940). Thus, this publication substantially suplements the Latvian national bibliography.
