The book publishes manuscript texts of the middle of the XX - early XXI centuries in the languages of the indigenous and nomadic peoples of the Siberian-Far Eastern region. The book consists of seven sections based on ethnicity, and includes prose and song texts in the Koryak, Altaic, Chalkan, Khakassian, and Erzya-Mordovian languages, as well as in the Telengit dialect of the Altaic and Tojin dialects. Texts are accompanied by translation into Russian, glossing and comments of linguistic character. The handwritten texts in the national languages are presented in two versions: author's (with full preservation of the features of self-recording) and normative (in accordance with the norms of modern national graphics).
