The book gives the theoretical and methodological justification of transformation of land relations since the period of Old Russian state and up to the beginning of the third millennium. The different aspects of land reform in Russia during the last century - historical, socioeconomic, legal, psychological - are given more thorough consideration. Particular attention is paid to the analysis of land relations in present-day Russia in connection with transition to market relations.
