The collection presents materials dedicated to little-known pages of the biography, scientific and creative heritage of the outstanding Udmurt writer, ethnographer, public figure Kuzebay Gerd (Kuzma Pavlovich Chaynikov). Most of these materials were collected and researched by the famous musicologist, teacher, folklorist Rimma Arkadyevna Churakova. Some of them were published during the life of R.A. Churakova, but many remained in manuscripts. In the collection, you will read unpublished pages, as well as stories about some of Kuzebay Gerd's poetic works that became folk songs. The songs are accompanied by musical material, transcription and translation into Russian. Some of them can be listened to by clicking on the QR code.
