Kristina Mesaros (1981) belongs to a generation of young artists who created the look of current Slovak painting in the last decade. Kristina Mesaros's approach to painting is characterized by a concentrated immersion in the matter of the close and familiar, and a slow emergence in unknown, fluid territories. The artist gradually probes and reinterprets them, accentuates the invisible and fleeting qualities with the naked eye with contrasting colors and a graceful painting gesture.
