"Koropets on the Dniester" is a book of memoirs of Michal Sobkuv, who was born in 1927 in the village of Koropets of Buchach County in the family of a Pole and a Ukrainian woman. He left for Poland in 1945, where he became a doctor.
The memoirs contain valuable information material on everyday life, ethnography, interethnic relations, cultural, economic and political life of Koropets from the 1930s to 1945.
The book shows the impact of world history on the local life of western Podillya and is a valuable historical source.
