The book "Khreschatyk - a communicator between times" is dedicated to the Main Street and the square not only of the capital, but also of all Ukraine. The forced transformations of Khreshchatyk in the 1930s are considered; the vicissitudes of competition in the 1940s in search of the best conceptual solutions for postwar planning and stylistic guidelines, the experience of reconstruction work.
A separate section presents ten architectural essays on the post-war Khreshchatyk, which reveal the content of the created architectural forms encrypted by the authors.
