Kazim Bekkievich Mechiev (1859-1945) - the great Balkar poet, educator, philosopher-humanist, founder of Balkar poetry and literary Balkar language, member of the Union of Writers of the USSR since 1940. The monograph examines the world of moral ideas realized in the poetry of K. Mechiev. An attempt was made to determine the entire palette of the poet's lyrics - from love to social, the nature of the influence of Turkic and Eastern poetry on the formation of the artistic foundations of creativity is determined.
