In Polish historiography, despite the passage of time, there are still topics that have either not met with the proper interest from researchers or are completely ignored. In particular, we still know little about the life and political views expressed by people associated with National Democracy. One such figure is Karol Stefan Frycz. A publicist associated with a number of National Democrat magazines, a commentator on political reality with ambitions to present his vision of Polish history, a great admirer of Hungary, who greatly appreciated the Baroque, who - as a result of the turmoil of war - was imprisoned in the Auschwitz concentration camp twice, where he ultimately died.
