Although the name of Karol Ondreicka Sr. resonates in the consciousness of the cultural public, with the exception of the work of art, many documents about the performance of this artist have not been preserved. Although every study or publication in the history of modern art in Slovakia deals with Ondreicka's work, it is always only a few of the same works from one period of work. Curators Aurel Hrabusicky and Silvia Ileckova decided to present the life and work of the painter and graphic artist Karol Ondreicka in more detail and thus reveal positions in which we do not know this representative of Slovak modernism.
