The topic of Belarusian-Turkmen literary ties has worried me for a long time. Since I arrived in Ashgabat in August 1985, I have been lucky enough to meet many writers - Kerim Kurbanyapesov, Kayum Tangrikuliyev, Kurbandurda Kurbansakhatov, Seitniyaz Atayev, Kurban Chaliev, Kokal Atadametyev Tagan, Sapar Urayev, Kurbaniyaz Dashkinov, Kakabay Kurbanmuradov, Atageldy Karaev, Ashir Nazarov, Chary Matalov, Tagan Sakhbedov ... I could name many more. I have been friends with someone since then - with Agagelda Alanazarov, Kasym Nurbadov. New friends appeared - Maksat Beshimov, Anamuhamed Kirshen, Begul Anabayeva, Dzhumageldy Mulkiev, Jumageldy Khudaikuliev ... All of them are sincere servants of the artistic word, diligent workers of Turkmen literature, the origin of which is in the works of the genius Makhtumkuli.
Here is this friendship, hundreds of Turkmen books from my own library, which travel with me through life, and pushed me to look into the space that connects, unites Turkmen writers with Belarus. And it turned out that the Belarusian-Turkmen literary friendship is formed by many, many interesting fragments, facts, phenomena. About some of them - in the pages of the book, which I offer to readers.
I will note the following circumstance: the book dedicated to the Belarusian-Turkmen literary ties continues to be collected. And in time I will definitely tell what I did not have time to set out in this issue.
