Kapez Baigabyluly (1896, Raiymbek district, Aktogai village — 1939, Ukhta city, Komi ASSR) is a singer-composer, a victim of Stalinist political persecution. He came from the Albanian tribe of the Great Hundred. He grew up fond of poetry and singing. He learned literacy from the village mullah, and at the age of 15-17 he studied at the Istanbul madrasa with his friends Sauytakyn (Uyghur) and Sharshiken. He chose the educational path, opened several schools in the Zhetysu region, and engaged in literacy work in the country. He will not give up his singing. 1931-33 During the famine, he joined the village "Oblatkom" with 60 houses and organized measures to save people from starvation. 1937 Arrested under false accusation of "enemy of the people" in 1939. He was shot in the city of Ukhta, Komi ASSR. 1958 justified. Kapez knew a lot of stories and epics of eastern peoples. His songs that have come down to us differ in form and content. Three songs "Ay-kai", "Dunie-ay", "Merky" were released in 1990. published, included in volume 1 of the collection "Folk songs and songs of folk comps" (compiled by Zh. Karmenov, "Uner" publishing house). Togyzbulak secondary school in Rayymbek district is named after Kapez.
