This collection includes studies by Russian scientists about the famous Persian-Tajik poet-mystic of the XIV century Kamol Khujandi, written before the 60s of the XX century, as well as translations of the poet's gazelles made by Russian writers A. Adalis, V. Zvyagintseva, V. Potapova, I. Selvinsky, Y. Kazlovsky and M. Sinelnikov. The preface and afterword of the compilers will help trace the history of research by Russian and Western orientalists, as well as translations of Kamol Khujandi's work into Russian.
