In 1724, three ancient cities on Prussian soil (Kneiphof, Loebenicht and Altstadt) united: this is how Koenigsberg (since 1946 – Kaliningrad) arose.
The book is dedicated to the tercentenary of the philosopher Immanuel Kant and the unification of these three cities. Traditionally, the publication pays great attention to visualization: images of the past are presented in the technique of engraving, and the present - in the form of paintings. The book is also illustrated with many photographs, modern and pre-war.
