The Kachkanar Formant plant was created in 1941, like many enterprises of the USSR era, for a defense order and, accordingly, the main products were military subjects. But the factories were ordered to produce a certain percentage of products for civilian needs, so the Kachkanar plant took its place in the production of electronic musical instruments. In the 90s, they had to rebuild and the plant tried to establish a screwdriver assembly of TVs, but this did not survive either. Now on the territory of the plant there are many different enterprises, which, in general, have nothing in common with the old plant.
