The study describes the development of the culture of the Adygs, the logic of the transformation of social and cultural consciousness in the context of the “big time”. The continuity of the various stages of the development of the Adyghe ethnos and the functions of ethical and aesthetic thinking as an ethnogenerative factor made it possible to identify the national identity of the Adyghe culture, its formation, and the formation of modern Kabardian literature.
