In the monograph for the first time there introduced into scientific circle unpublished materials of well investigated sites and data of excavations of the recent years. The author generalized and systematized stored material, exposed conditions and places of discovery of tile. It was proposed and approved methods of tile analysis, determined its assortment and systems (kinds) of roof covering tile. There examined decorum and signs of the tile. The author made a careful study of the technology of tile production, characterized source of raw materials and marked centers of tile production. There is done a comparative analysis of tile from Bohai and Jurchen sites.
