The aim of the exhibition and the publication "Jewish Life in Lithuania" is to inform about Lithuanian Jews and their influence on the Lithuanian society. Of about 200,000 Jews who lived on what is now Lithuanian territory, only 6 per cent endured Holocaust. With those people the Litvak civilization also disappeared. This publication helps the reader to learn about Jewish life and culture in Lithuania and to appreciate their contributions to the country's development.
