The work addresses the problem of Jewish institutions functioning in Siberia under the shift of political regimes: the provisional government, Soviet power, democratic counterrevolution, and Kolchak's regime. The impact of the key opponents to the Jewish national movement, the Zionists and the Bund, upon maintenance of Jewish ethnic and religious identity is considered.
