This book tells the life of Doctor Jak Craps. Jak Barbut, who was the physician of the Sultanahmet Prison and the chief physician of the Balat Or Ahayim Jewish Hospital for many years, also worked as a surgeon in other hospitals in Istanbul. Jak Craps was always remembered with great admiration, both by the prisoners and prison officers in the prison, and by the patients he treated at the hospitals where he worked.
