Taran L. is a modern Ukrainian poetess, prose writer, literary critic, and journalist. She was awarded the Order of St. Barbara the Great Martyr; Laureate of the Kyiv Art Prize named after Yevhen Pluzhnyk (2005), awards named after O. Biletsky (1996), named after Vasyl Mysyk (1996), magazines "Courier of Kryvbas", "Berezil", "Ukrainian culture", "Ukraine". Winner of the competition for journalists of the UN Program "Gender in Development" (1998).
