The publication is the first scientific description of graphic materials and memorial objects dedicated to Aksakov from the collection of the Literary Museum of the IRLI (Pushkin House) RAS: lifetime and posthumous graphic portraits, photographs, caricatures, personal belongings, documents and relics related to the perpetuation of his memory. The catalog includes over 60 descriptions and more than 50 illustrations, many of which are published for the first time. The publication is equipped with a historical outline of the Aksakov collection, a name index and a detailed scientific commentary. Ivan Sergeyevich Aksakov (1823-1886) was a Russian litterateur and notable Slavophile.
