This is a book about the Leningrad theater and film actor Ivan Dmitriev (1915-2003) and his first wife, actress Alla Delvin (Alexandra Ladygina, 1915-2009), who worked at the Komissarzhevskaya Theater in Leningrad. Their stage careers began in Vyshny Volochyok, where one of the most famous provincial theaters was located.
