This study is based on two sociological surveys to identify the state and prospects of the Islamic economy in the Republic.
The research reveals a low level of Islamic economic consciousness among ordinary Muslims in the Republic. The prospects of the Islamic economy in Dagestan are strongly influenced by the values of liberal ideology, which is natural for a secular state. This is one of the complex problems that hinders the formation of Islamic behavior among ordinary believers in the economic sphere.
