Currently, there are an estimated 10,000 Muslims in Estonia, mostly Tatars and Azeris that moved to Estonia during the Soviet period (though before the Soviet occupation, there were also Islamic communities in Narva and Tallinn). The issue is rarely covered in the mainstream press, because most of Estonia's Muslims are from the Russian-speaking community. The book analyzes Muslims' situation, Estonian-Islamic contacts.
