The monograph overviews the state policy on the second half of the XIX – early XX centuries regarding the Muslims living on the territory on the Russian Empire. The use of previously unpublished materials from various archival institutions of the country and the analysis of regulatory documents allows tracking the historical dynamics in the state-confessional policy pursued by the Russian Empire in the Western Siberia.
