The proposed facsimile edition of Lavrovsky's irrational Irmologion of the end of the 16th century, which is accompanied by a scientific-critical apparatus, represents the final stage of the development of a nonlinear notation in the Kyiv Metropolitanate. In fact, it was a time of parallel coexistence of two different notations - the ancient unmanly and the newest linear-mensural. The collection combines didactic principles with liturgical services, which in later notolinic irrmologies became a universal norm. In the half-length repertoire of Irmologion, along with the traditional centuries-old heritage, the elements of the new are clearly manifested - the virtuosic rosin style of some songs that spread from the Balkans, and the first attempts to record songs in a polyphonic presentation. The manuscript was for a long time in the Lavra St. Onuphrius Monastery in Galicia, and may have been created there, and later found itself in the library of the Peremyshko Greek Catholic Chapter. Today it is stored at the People's Library in Warsaw.
