The main tasks of the research department are the improvement of research work and the solution of scientific problems in the field of theatrical, visual, decorative and applied arts, screen art and design, the training of highly qualified personnel (postgraduate and doctoral studies), the development of interuniversity and international cooperation in scientific field (conducting scientific conferences and seminars), scientific and methodological support of academic events. The opening of the research department allows us to raise the research work in the field of domestic professional art to a new qualitative level, contributes to the improvement of the educational system in the field of culture and art, strengthens the ties of higher education with science and industry.
