Several authors of the collection participated in the drafting of the Convention on standards of democratic elections, electoral rights and freedoms in the countries–members of the CIS. They also developed the recommendations for International Observers of the CIS concerning election monitoring, as well as several other international documents for democratic elections, ensuring voting rights and freedoms to every man and citizen and an international election observation.
