Arsenii Tarkovskii (1907-1989) belongs to those Russian poets for whom such little every-day things as night rain, morning dew and "the embers of the last autumn leaves" can turn into the objects of glorification. The music of his poems is sometimes elaborate and at the same time it can be very simple.
