The monograph examines the military restrictions imposed on the losing countries of World War I in the context of the work of the Paris Peace Conference. It looks at the implementation of the military clauses of the Treaty of Neuilly in Bulgaria and the operation of the special inter-allied control bodies throughout the period of their existence from 1920 until 1927. The study also reveals the attitude of the Bulgarian authorities towards the military clauses and the passive yet firm resistance against their implementation.
