These conference proceedings were assembled from the original scientific papers of the participants of the 20th international symposium «Integrating archaeological and ethnographic research», which took place in Irkutsk on May 26-30, 2013. The symposium was devoted to the 200th anniversary of the birth of M.A. Kastren and to the 85th anniversary of the birth of R.G. Kuzeev.
