The book presents the results of the research carried out by scientists from Tyumen and Ingushetia. The monograph covers problems of preservation of the original Ingush people in the different ethnical surrounding. The author analyzes common and specific features of the traditional Ingush culture in comparison with the cultures of the neighboring peoples (Russians, the Tatar, the Kazakh) and based on the materials of different inquiries estimates the degree of vitality of language and culture separated from native territory.
