Working out of indicators for measuring the quality of life of indigenous smaller peoples of the North of the Sakhalinskaya oblast is developing a toolkit for the analysis of these people’s status on the basis of the official statistics, surveys and expert interviews. The research was carried out on the basis of the analysis of the international experience, first of all in the framework of the United Nations with the consideration of the present day situation in the Sakhalinskaya oblast.
