The research is devoted to the study, systematization and classification of such a genre-forming element of fairy tales as miraculous objects. Along with the coverage of the history of the study of the issue in national and domestic folklore studies, the work is aimed at identifying and characterizing the main functional groups of miraculous subject realities in the Karachay-Balkar fairy tale epic and, accordingly, consists of two main parts: theoretical and dictionary entries.
