Oleksandr Odisseyovych Vyshnya, a soldier of the Territorial defense of the city of Oklunkov, is arrested after a strange shooting incident. From the cell, he is brought to a conversation with strangers in camouflage, who offer Sashka to join the ranks of the Separate Mobile Squad of Mental Protection. So he becomes a fighter, engaged in the search and destruction of monsters. The squad is named after Hryhorii Skovoroda, who was the first known Ukrainian monster hunter.
