This book is dedicated to the religious and national history of the central part of Maramoroshchyna - the village of Dubovy and its environs - from the late Middle Ages to the present day. The author examines in detail the process of formation of the church union in Maramoroshchyna against the background of religious, political and national processes of the XVII-XVIII centuries. The work also contains a first-of-its-kind overview of the history of the underground Greek Catholic Church in the Teresa Valley, based not only on archival documents but also on numerous oral evidence collected by the author himself. Finally, particular attention was given to the complex, marked by acute inter-denominational conflicts, of the stage revival of the Greek Catholic community of Oak and the surrounding area in the late 1980s - early 1990s and its further development under the tutelage of the Incarnation of the Incarnate Word.
