Yana Zhemoytelite (born May 11, 1965) is a prose writer, translator, author of plays, poet, editor, publisher. Member of the Russian Writers' Union since 1996. She graduated from the Faculty of Philology with a degree in Finnish language and literature, Petrozavodsk State University. She worked as a teacher and translator. She devoted ten years of her life to the National Theater of the Republic of Kazakhstan (head, deputy director), another 7 years to the magazine “North” as head. prose department, editor-in-chief. Today Yana Zhemoytelite is the Chairman of the Union of Young Writers of Karelia and the director of the Northern Lights publishing house.
