A diary by recently deceased iconic Slovak humorist Milan Lasica.
Why keep a diary? Because one writes in it what one wants, not what others expect. He will not write to himself what he does not need. Such are the diary entries of Milan Lasica from 2009 to 2015. The author did not consider the exact dating or the division of events into new and recollections to be important. Only those that remain are important, because they show his world.And why draw every day? For example, because words are short for some images. All the more so if it is 2020 and everyone's life has been marked by a pandemic. When, in the autumn of that year, Milan Lasica phoned the artist Marek Ormandik to ask if he would illustrate his diary, he had no idea that his friend had a sketchbook with drawings of a similar nature - every day since the pandemic broke out, he had drawn a picture in it. Both diaries, pictorial and textual, show us the world of two creators in a way we have not known them before.
