Lida Kostareva is a Syktyvkar craftswoman, an artisan dyer, and the author of the project “Forgotten Craft” and the book “Forgotten Craft.” She has been practicing the mesmerizing art of natural dyeing for several years. Using local herbs, mosses and other natural ingredients, she works wonders on fabrics, creating unique patterns, leaving imprints of nature on the fabric. Her new book, "Nature's Prints," introduces the process of dyeing natural materials with natural dyes using the ecoprint technique. It contains a description of various contact dyeing methods, a specific list of plants, and examples of finished products with a description of the technology for their creation.
