The monograph is a comprehensive theoretical and legal study of peremptory norms of law. The work is intended to fill the gap in theoretical concepts of peremptory norms of law, as well as to expand scientific knowledge of imperative law.
The monograph reveals the legal nature of imperative law and peremptory legal norms, identifies the sign of imperative as an independent sign of any rule of law, provides a classification of norms and the division of law into private and public according to the criterion of imperative. The author presents his own definition of peremptory norms of law, reveals their unique characteristic features with the designation of artificative features in accordance with the rules of legal technology, draws a distinction between peremptory norms of law and dispositive ones, reveals general patterns of the possession of any rule of law as an imperative.
