Ilya Golosov (1883-1945) is an eminent soviet avant-garde architect, who made a considerable contribution to formation and development of the modern architecture. This book is dedicated to Golosov’s creative work. It gives a thorough analysis of “symbolic romanticism”, a creative trend headed by Golosov in the early 1920s, and “The Theory of Building Architectural Organisms”, developed by him as well. The book is lavishly illustrated.
