The book was created as a result of the long-term work of the students of Hungarology in order to some extent to compensate for the lack of the Hungarian-Croatian phraseological dictionary of the General Phraseological Fund of two languages, but also of a specialized Hungarian-Croatian phraseological dictionary that would describe the phrases of a particular thematic area. The Hungarian-Croatian phraseological dictionary contains somatic phrases, ie those relating to the body, but the authors also include several supernatural elements that are not part of the body, and those words that the existing Croatian and Hungarian phraseological dictionaries do not include in phrases.
