Wars change the world: they cause the collapse of empires and the transformation of alliances, they reveal the nature of global socio-political systems. Today, we are witnessing the collapse of the last of the empires, if not the most ridiculous of them, whatever the official name of this state is the Russian one. It is about the final liberation of Ukraine from the inherently colonial yoke. Recovery is ahead: post-war reconstruction and modernization of destroyed infrastructure, creation of modern industrial production, renewal of the social and humanitarian sphere. There are many problems that the Ukrainians will have to solve after the victory.
However, the experiences of Japan, the Republic of Korea, China and Vietnam, which have recovered and rebuilt after natural disasters and devastating wars, show that the path from war to sustainable peace and order can be overcome if the nation is united and recovery plans are developed taking into account the best global practice.
