The book is based on correspondence of two close friends, Vasiliy Zvontsov and Semen Gejchenko. It provides the memoirs, narratives, and verses they wrote to one another, and a great deal of photographs and illustrations. The book gives us a more direct line of sight into enigma of cordial and warm friendship and love towards a human, towards a friend. It reminds of another great figure in the history of Russian culture, Alexander Pushkin and his numerous friendship relations that only make us wonder.
