The album is dedicated to three illustrated Gospels of the XIth century kept in the Matenadaran. The earliest of the Gospels ( № 3793, fig.1) was made in 1053, in 1060 the decoration of so-called Gospel according to Begunts (№ 10099, fig.3) and the most significant among them from the artistic point of view the Gospel according to Mogni. These manuscripts resemble in style and iconography.
